St Francis Xavier School offers high quality education for primary students in the Montmorency area and the Risen Christ Parish. Enrolments are now open for Prep children for 2025.

Enrolment places are offered primarily to children from Catholic families in the Parish of Montmorency, however a limited number of places are offered to non-Catholic students and families who are happy to support the ethos of our school. The map below shows the catchment area for our school. A more detailed version is also available for download on this page.

School Fees & Charges Schedule 2024 (Australian Residents Only)
Curriculum Levy (Book, Excursion, Stationery & Swimming Levy) - $ 550 per child.
Family School Fees - $2450 per family per year
Technology Levy - $100 per child per year
Building Levy - $200 per family per year
School Camp – Year 5 & 6 - (T.B.C) Year 3 & 4 – (T.B.C)
***A $100 rebate will be deducted from your Family School Fee if you attend your annual school working bee morning***
*** A one off $100 non-refundable enrolment administration fee is applicable upon the completion of your child’s enrolment form***
CONCESSIONAL FEE POLICY (As per M.A.C.S guidelines)
- Any family of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
- Any family holding an Health Care Card and eligible for
- Any family experiencing severe financial
- Any family holding a DVA Gold
- Any family identified as refugees and holding an
- Any family required to relocate their (Australian resident) child to St. Michael’s Catholic Primary School, North Melbourne, due to the child requiring long term medical treatment at The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne. Pro-rata concession is provided for part-year attendance. An annual statutory declaration is required to confirm
- Any student who attends a MACS primary school on a part time basis, who meet any of the criteria detailed above.
S.F.X FEE STRUCTURE FOR FAMILIES WHO QUALIFY:
1 CHILD - $780 PER ANNUM
2 CHILDREN - $1196 PER ANNUM
3 CHILDREN - $1560 PER ANNUM
