A Message from the Principal



Welcome to the 2020 school year!
It is with great excitement that we welcome many new families and teachers to our school and we look forward to working with you over the coming year.




Our school theme in 2020 is

It is through the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm of our staff that all children are challenged to work at their full potential. 

In 2020 we will be commencing many new Intervention programs that assist not only those who struggle with their learning, but also those that need to be extended, challenged and further stimulated in their learning outside the typical classroom setting. 

                                                             
We will also be extending our current Specialist teaching program to incorporate Visual Arts and Digital Technologies in a new weekly 40 minute session for all student.  Thus all children will have 7 Specialist classes each week.  Schools by nature are complex and diverse places. There are often great demands on all stakeholders to go beyond the norm of what is accepted at other primary schools.  

As Principal of St. Francis Xavier School I have high expectations of all my staff and my students.

Students - Teachers- Parents - Parish need to come together in true partnership to work together as an educational community. Whilst there is already a great sense of connection with all the stakeholders at our school,  this is also something that can be further developed in 2020.

As a school we need to continually challenge ourselves to be the best school we can be and become the school of choice in the Montmorency area,  offering exceptional education that progresses all children in their learning.

May God grant us grace and blessings as we venture with faith and commitment into the 2020 school year.
